Abby D. Linzay, MD

Dr. Catherine “Abby” D. Linzay is a board-certified gastroenterologist who has been practicing with GIS since 2021. Dr. Linzay’s particular areas of interest include colorectal cancer screening, anorectal disorders, and women’s health (including pelvic floor dysfunction and fecal incontinence). Dr. Linzay is a member in good standing of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Linzay’s training includes completing fellowship training in Gastroenterology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. She attended Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport for internship and residency in Internal Medicine, where she also received her medical degree. Before attending medical school, Dr. Linzay received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.

Dr. Linzay is originally from Lecompte, Louisiana. She enjoys spending time with her husband and three young children. Her hobbies include cooking, entertaining her friends and family, and attending sporting events.
