Abby D. Linzay, MD
Dr. Catherine “Abby” D. Linzay is a board-certified gastroenterologist returning to Shreveport after recently completing her training. Dr. Linzay’s particular areas of interest include colorectal cancer screening, anorectal disorders, and women’s health, including pelvic floor dysfunction and incontinence. Dr. Linzay is a member in good standing of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Linzay’s training includes completing fellowship training in Gastroenterology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. She attended Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport for internship and residency in Internal Medicine, where she also received her Medical Degree. Before attending medical school, she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Dr. Linzay is originally from Lecompte, Louisiana and enjoys spending time with her husband Trey, young son Bo, and dog Roux. Her hobbies include cooking, entertaining her friends and family, and attending sporting events.
